WPAA-TV operates as "Your Town, Your Station, Your Voice" distributing programs by the community, for the community. WPAA-TV distributes community access and public service information prioritizing support for Wallingford-developed media.

Description

Recognized for 'Overall Excellence' from the Alliance for Community Media four times since 2019. What we do is done with our community partners and volunteers.
Our core program is the creation of citizen media, from idea to execution, as TV content. Everyone who walks through the door has different levels of prior training in video production and storytelling ranging from none to some college credit and aspiring filmmakers. Staff schedules one-on-one time to help each prospective producer become confident with the tools and execution of their plan. More information can be found here: http://wpaa.tv/make-tv/
