Compassus Palliative and Hospice Care urgently needs volunteers for terminally ill patients who can play a musical instrument or sing! If you have 1-2 hours per month you can make an amazing differencein the live of patients. Hospice volunteers are ordinary people with exraordinary love and concern for others, contributing their time, talent, and energy at an extraordinary time of life. Music Program Volunteer duties include visiting with patients and families either one on one on in a group setting and playing music. You will be trained and supported by the Evercare Hospice professional team and become a part of the hospice team. Minimum age is 16. We help us share the joy of music with our patients.

Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care provides end of life care to terminally ill patients and their families through an integrated team of physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual advisors and trained volunteers. Volunteers are ordinary people with extraordinary love and concern for others, contributing their time, talent and energy at an extraordinary time of life. Volunteer duties may include the following: provide companionship, listen, read, run an errand or cook a meal. Volunteers are assigned to one family.
Description
We invite volunteers to join the Compassus Hospice team if they have two hours per week and are deeply compassionate. Volunteers are fundamental to the hospice concept and a vital part of the hospice team.
