Volunteers Wanted-Nonprofit Crisis Nursery

Are you interested in being hands-on with a nonprofit dedicated to preserving families and preventing child abuse? Then Pinwheel Place is the right place to give your time and talents. The mission of Pinwheel Place is to stop childhood trauma before it starts by providing for the physical and emotional needs of Monmouth County children and their families. By also offering diapers, clothes, and baby supplies, Pinwheel Place fosters a healthy local community and strengthens families to endure their difficult trials.

Pinwheel Place is a 501c(3) nonprofit that provides free emergency childcare to children from 6 weeks old to 6 years old. Located in Eatontown, NJ, Pinwheel Place is the only licensed crisis nursery in the state and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are seeking passionate volunteers to deliver hands-on assistance in the following areas:

organizes families in need of diapers and arranges weekly deliveries based on priority. Possesses computer skills and strong organization skills. Some work on-site in Eatontown, NJ, is required, but open to remote. Commitment of 3 hours a week.
