Share your love of nature with your local community by becoming a nature walk leader! Help us host free nature walks at various trails on the Peninsula on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Who: The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) preserves land and restores habitats for the education and enjoyment of all.

Volunteers must be available to volunteer on the second Saturdays of the month.
What's Required:
You are required to attend both training dates on March 15th and March 22nd to become a Nature Walk Leader.
You will need transportation during the event to travel to a nearby nature preserve for the second part of each training day.
Registration is required! After clicking "Sign Up", PVPLC will send you their forms to fill out to confirm your registration.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and be available to volunteer on the second Saturdays of the month.

Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
