Location: Remote/Hybrid (with occasional in-person meetings in Northeast Ohio)

Commitment: Approximately 3-5 hours per month

About Limitless Ambition: Limitless Ambition, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering young women to overcome boundaries and pursue their dreams. We offer teen enrichment programs, provide care packages to young girls in foster care, and host women’s empowerment events. Since our inception, we've positively impacted over 7,000 women and girls in Northeast Ohio. To continue making an impact, we are seeking passionate volunteers to join our board committees.

We are currently recruiting members for the following Board Committees:

  1. Governance Committee:

    • Help recruit and onboard new board members.
    • Ensure the board is equipped with the tools needed to carry out their responsibilities.
    • Play a role in shaping the governance structure and ensuring best practices are followed.
  2. Fund Development Committee:

    • Support Limitless Ambition’s fundraising initiatives.
    • Partner with our team to develop strategic fundraising plans.
    • Help build relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.
  3. Finance Committee:

    • Assist in monitoring the organization’s financial health.
    • Provide financial planning, budgeting, and oversight support.
    • Ensure financial transparency and accountability.

Limitless Ambition, Inc. uses creative approaches to help girls and young women overcome boundaries to their success. Built and led by women, the nonprofit preserves and promotes the visions of emerging women who have been discouraged from pursuing their goals. By providing resources, training, and support - this young organization assists girls and young women in developing limitless ambitions. The mission of Limitless Ambition is to empower emerging women to relentlessly pursue their dreams.

Description

Limitless Ambition’s four programming arms advance the organization’s goals. They include the Purposely Chosen Teen Program - a facilitated curriculum-based program for teen girls, designed to equip them with the tools they need to pursue passion, demonstrate leadership, and overcome obstacles; Limitless Ambition Dream Kits - duffle bags distributed to young girls who have experienced trauma and/ or are living in foster care; Ladies of Legacy - the organization’s annual women’s empowerment event awarding two scholarships to local seniors; and Community Workshops - held at churches, schools, and community organizations, these workshops are designed to help women overcome emotional obstacles and live the lives they desire.
