Volunteer role begins 2/1/25
For over 70 years, MDA has led the way as the #1 Voluntary Health Organization in the U.S. for people living with neuromuscular diseases. MDA’s mission is to empower the people we serve to live longer, more independent lives.
We are looking for a group of committed volunteers to assist with calling our dedicated partners in the retail space (ie. grocery stores, convenience stores, fast food restaurants, casual dining, banks, etc.) during their annual fundraising campaigns.
This volunteer opportunity can be done virtually from your home. Responsibilities include attending a training and contacting partners to collect information, offer support, and strengthen our partnership to enhance their fundraising efforts. We anticipate this opportunity to connect with our partners to be a weekly commitment of a minimum of 10 hours/week and 80-120 phone calls on average. We are looking for candidates who can commit to a 4-6 week volunteer opportunity.
By signing up, you will be contacted once a volunteer opportunity becomes available and you'll work hand-in-hand with an MDA staff partner or another volunteer leader to ensure your volunteer experience is a rewarding one, while helping to fuel MDA's mission.
