Position Overview:
The Event Planning and Coordination Team plays a vital role in the successful execution of all events hosted by Unleash Your Inner Worth, Inc. This team handles the logistics, program development, attendee management, and vendor coordination for workshops, webinars, and signature events such as the Unleash Your Inner Worth: Women's Empowerment Summit and Gala. Under the guidance of the Events Chair, team members ensure that all events align with the organization’s mission and create impactful experiences for attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Logistics:

    • Secure and book venues for in-person events.
    • Coordinate catering, technology setup (audio/visual equipment), and event supplies.
    • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring seamless execution on the day of the event.
  2. Program Development:

    • Collaborate with speakers, facilitators, and community partners to design engaging and mission-driven sessions.
    • Assist with drafting and distributing event agendas and schedules.
  3. Attendee Management:

    • Oversee attendee registration, including maintaining registration lists and handling inquiries.
    • Coordinate check-in processes and provide exceptional support to attendees during events.
    • Assist with post-event follow-ups, such as surveys and thank-you communications.
  4. Vendor Management:

    • Serve as the liaison with third-party vendors, such as AV companies, caterers, and merchandise providers.
    • Ensure contracts and deliverables are fulfilled according to agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for empowering women and supporting the mission of Unleash Your Inner Worth, Inc.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in event planning, project management, or logistics is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to dynamic event needs.

Supervision and Collaboration:
Team members will work under the supervision of the Events Chair and collaborate closely with other teams, including Public Relations, Fundraising, and Marketing, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Through transformative experiences such as conferences, workshops, and mentorship programs, we aim to enhance mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being while fostering personal growth, professional development, and community engagement.

Our signature event, the Unleash Your Inner Worth: Women’s Empowerment Summit and Gala, takes place annually and features inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, and networking opportunities. The 2025 gala will include live entertainment, an awards ceremony, and a fundraiser to support Tabitha’s House in combating sex trafficking.
