Position Overview:
The Public Relations Chair is responsible for developing and executing media and communication strategies that enhance the public image and awareness of Unleash Your Inner Worth, Inc. This role ensures that the organization’s messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with its mission of empowering women. The Public Relations Chair will focus on media outreach, managing communications, and driving public engagement through strategic storytelling and brand representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Outreach and Relations:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and national media outlets.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and event announcements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries and interviews.

• Strategic Communications:

  • Create and implement comprehensive public relations plans to build brand awareness.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
  • Craft compelling narratives that highlight the organization’s impact, events, and initiatives.

• Brand Management:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment in branding and messaging.
  • Monitor public perception and address any issues that may affect the organization’s reputation.
  • Develop and enforce messaging guidelines to maintain a consistent voice and tone.

• Event Promotion:

  • Support the promotion of major events like the Unleash Your Inner Worth: Women's Empowerment Summit and Gala.
  • Collaborate with event and fundraising teams to maximize publicity and attendance.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build partnerships with influencers, community leaders, and key stakeholders to amplify the organization’s reach.
  • Create and share testimonials, success stories, and other content that drives engagement.

Qualifications:

• Passion for the mission of Unleash Your Inner Worth, Inc. and empowering women.
• Experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with media tools and platforms for outreach and engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
