About the Position:

The Marketing Director collaborates with the Executive Director to promote our events through-out the year. Drafts and submits press releases. Designs marketing campaigns and materials to promote activities of the organization. Networks with companies and organizations to increase word of mouth about the organization and works to obtain offers and discounts that will benefit participants. Assists with the website to help promote goals. Assists the Social Media team.

Qualifications:

• Suggested retired military personnel or a military spouse with experience working with non-profit organizations.

• High level of integrity, accountability, and a commitment to the organization’s mission.

• Strong understanding of issues facing veterans and experience working with veteran-focused programs is highly desirable.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
