About Us:
GASDI is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through social development initiatives, climate change innovations, and humanitarian services.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Professional Grant Writer to research and write grant proposals to secure funding for our projects and programs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of writing successful grant proposals and a deep understanding of the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop and write high-quality grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents
- Collaborate with program staff to develop project concepts, goals, and objectives
- Ensure all grant proposals are tailored to the specific funding source and align with GASDI's mission and goals
- Submit grant proposals and track their status
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience (at least 2 years) in writing successful grant proposals for non-profit organizations
- Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of the non-profit sector and funding landscape
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
