Welcome to the Lituanica Park Playground Improvement Project.
Volunteers are needed to help "Community Build" a new swing set, tangle activity walk, ball maze play panel, ADA access ramp, and... lots and lots... of new playground mulch.
Our professional playground contractor will demo the old swing set, and install the new swing set, tangle activity walk and ball maze play panel.
We need a volunteers to
- remove old mulch with byo garden forks and shovels
- operate a BobCat skidsteer
- drive a small dump truck
- use byo cordless drill, driver, sawzall tools
- set new timber border and ADA access ramp
- install landscape fabric
- spread new mulch evenly with byo steel rakes

Beverly Shores is a town in Pine Township, Porter County, Indiana, United States, about 36 miles (58 km) east of downtown Chicago. The population was 613 at the 2010 census. The community was incorporated in 1947.
