Position Overview

As an Event Fundraiser/Sponsorship Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the RiseUp Wealth Summit 2025 by securing the financial and sponsorship support necessary to bring this impactful event to life. This is a volunteer position ideal for individuals passionate about financial empowerment, community building, and event fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

Sponsorship Development: Identify, research, and engage potential corporate and community sponsors aligned with Legacy Lives Here Inc.'s mission.

Fundraising Campaigns: Design and execute creative fundraising initiatives to attract individual and organizational donors.

Donor Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with sponsors and donors, ensuring regular communication and acknowledgment of their contributions.

Proposal Writing: Create compelling sponsorship and grant proposals tailored to potential partners' values and interests.

Event Collaboration: Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure sponsor benefits are delivered, such as branding opportunities and participation in summit activities.

Reporting: Track and report fundraising progress, providing updates to the Executive Team.

Qualifications

Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or related fields.

Excellent communication and networking skills.

Ability to develop and present sponsorship proposals effectively.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passion for community development and financial literacy initiatives.

Commitment

Approximately 5-10 hours per week leading up to the event (flexible).

Participation in key planning meetings and event day support.

We seek to empower individuals and families to develop better financial habits and improve their relationship with money via the following tasks: The instruction or training of individuals, groups and communities for the purpose of improving or developing their capabilities with financial literacy. Creating partnerships with middle or high schools, colleges, and trade schools. Conducting public discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, or other similar programs. Developing course content and curriculum for in-person, distant learning, online instruction. Host annual conference on financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
