Responsibilities:

● Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets and influencers in your respective city

● Serve as a local ambassador and represent Empowered Futures at local events and gatherings

● Prepare press releases and media advisories

● Coordinate with the Events Committee to identify and plan local events

● Support the planning and execution of local events

● Attend weekly meetings to strategize marketing and public relation needs

Qualifications:

● Experience in public relations, communication, marketing, or other related fields is preferred

● Understanding of the local media landscape

● Familiarity with media relations and event planning

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

● Passionate about mentorship
