We at Suite Living Hospice are looking for fellow Veterans to volunteer 2 hours a month with our Hospice Veterans to provide a special connection/bond that is needed at end-of-life. We have 4 veterans that are in need of fellow service members to connect with as they begin their transition. Are you able to provide a lending ear? Live in Dakota or Washington County?

Description

We aim at improving the quality of life of persons who are dying from an advanced illness, volunteers have such a profound positive supportive presence in coping with illness. Our goal is to match every patient with a person to spend time doing various activities to bring as much joy as possible during this time.
