Position Summary
As a Mobile UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting user experiences that are intuitive
and engaging, with a strong focus on UI design. Working under the guidance of the User
Experience Lead, you will contribute to every stage of the design process, from user research to
prototyping and testing, with an emphasis on UI and app design using Figma. You’ll collaborate
with developers, particularly those using Flutter for the front-end, to ensure your designs are
implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, with
a focus on user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
2. Collaborate with the User Experience Lead and developers to refine and
implement designs, ensuring alignment with product goals and technical constraints.
3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions, iterating
on designs as necessary.
4. Work closely with the product and development teams to ensure a cohesive user
experience across mobile and web platforms.
5. Participate in usability testing and analyze results to make informed design
adjustments.
6. Assist in maintaining the design system to ensure consistency and scalability
across the platform.

7. Stay up-to-date with UI/UX trends and best practices, particularly in app design
and Figma.
Qualifications:
* 2-4 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio demonstrating
user-centered design.
* Strong proficiency in Figma and experience using advanced features such as
interactive prototypes and design systems.
* Experience designing for mobile and web applications, with a focus on creating
responsive designs.
* Basic understanding of Flutter and how it impacts UI design is a plus.
* Ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
* Strong visual design skills with a focus on typography, color, and layout.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong team-oriented
mindset.
* Passion for civic engagement and social impact.
* Familiarity with agile development processes is a plus.
Time Commitment:
Minimum of 12 hours per week, with flexibility around project timelines.
