Are you ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families? Join our nonprofit as a Volunteer Community Impact Day Committee Member! In this role, you’ll help plan and execute our annual Community Impact Day, ensuring its success and advancing our No Child Without mission: no child should go without school supplies, hygiene kits, clean socks, and backpacks each school year.

Responsibilities:

As part of the committee, you will work collaboratively to:

• Fundraising: Develop and execute strategies to secure funding and sponsorships.
• School Outreach & Communications: Build partnerships with schools and community organizations, and promote the event through effective communication channels.
• Distribution Strategy: Plan the logistics for distributing supplies to ensure maximum impact and efficiency.
• Supplier Relations: Identify and maintain relationships with suppliers and donors to secure needed items.
• Financial Management: Track and manage budgets, ensuring transparency and alignment with goals.
• Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support the event’s activities.
• Event Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of all activities related to Community Impact Day.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Passion for serving the community and supporting children in need.
• Experience in fundraising, event planning, logistics, or volunteer coordination (preferred but not required).
• Ability to dedicate time and energy to planning and attending meetings and the event.

Time Commitment:

Approximately 3-6 hours per month, with increased involvement leading up to Community Impact Day.
