Volunteer Donor Relations Manager - Nonprofit Organization

Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating a lasting impact? Join our nonprofit organization as a Volunteer Donor Relations Manager! In this vital role, you’ll foster connections with donors, ensuring they feel valued and engaged in supporting our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.
• Create and implement donor stewardship strategies to recognize and thank donors for their contributions.
• Manage a donor database to track giving history, preferences, and communication.
• Coordinate regular updates to donors, such as newsletters, reports, and success stories highlighting the impact of their support.
• Organize donor appreciation events and recognition programs to build loyalty and engagement.
• Collaborate with the Grants and Fundraising teams to align donor relations with overall funding goals.
• Assist with fundraising campaigns and initiatives to attract and retain donors.
• Respond promptly to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in customer service, fundraising, or nonprofit work (preferred but not required).
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with donor management software or a willingness to learn.
• Passion for community service and alignment with our mission.

Time Commitment:

Approximately 8-12 hours per month, with flexibility based on fundraising campaigns and events.
