Are you a visionary leader committed to driving meaningful change in the community? Join our nonprofit organization as President, where you’ll provide strategic leadership and serve as a key ambassador for our mission. As the head of the Board of Directors, you’ll guide the organization’s efforts to empower lives and make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership to the Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Facilitate board meetings, set agendas, and lead discussions to foster effective decision-making and strategic planning.
• Act as the primary representative of the organization in the community, building relationships with stakeholders, donors, and partners.
• Oversee and support the organization’s programs, including:
  • Student Impact Center
  • Free Impact Little Library
  • Family Advocacy Support Services
  • Humanity First Distribution
• Collaborate with board members, program leaders, and volunteers to achieve organizational goals.
• Work closely with the Treasurer and Grants/Donor Manager to ensure financial health and sustainability.
• Support fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and grant-seeking initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and governance standards.
• Mentor and inspire board members, staff, and volunteers to perform at their best.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in nonprofit governance, community leadership, or organizational management.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to oversee multiple programs and initiatives.
• Passion for community service and a deep commitment to our mission.
• Ability to dedicate time and energy to advancing the organization’s goals.

Time Commitment:

Approximately 15-20 hours per month, including board meetings, community events, and strategic planning sessions.
