Bessey Campground Host

Campground hosts are a valuable part of the US Forest Service. They provide helpful information to guests visiting the Bessey Recreation Complex, and help maintain the campgrounds. Campground Host volunteers are asked to commit to a continuous period of 1 to 2 months between May to mid September.
Possible responsibilities include:
- Check the condition of shower house and vault toilets in Bessey Complex and report condition to staff members. Hosts may be asked to restock toilet paper, soap, and/or change trash bags.
- Answer visitor questions about the area, resources, and recreation. Visitors will be stopping by your campsite as it will be identified with Campground Host signage.
- Ensure reservation cards are updated.
- Restock fee envelopes and handouts in the kiosk.
