Your Role:
- Meet with our outreach staff to prepare for the program- you'll get tips for reading to kids, review the book before each program, discuss follow up topics, and be fully prepared to take the program to the classroom
- Meet with us at the school on reading day. The outreach staff will attend classroom readings with you and support you through the journey!
- Read the assigned book to your scheduled class of 1st graders
- Answer any questions the students might have all while using person-first language
