12/03/24 | 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM
We need 100 volunteers and welcome help anytime between 5 AM and 11 PM, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours. We’re especially in need of assistance during the early morning hours, from 5 AM to 11 AM. If this event works for you, we’d be thrilled to have you join us!
The KFI Pasta-Thon is held annually in December. KFI 640AM Radio broadcasts live from the Anaheim White House Restaurant from 5 AM to 10 PM, encouraging listeners to stop by and bring pasta, sauce, and monetary donations to benefit the children at Caterina's Club, which provides thousands of meals to children in need. It’s a day full of non-stop festivities and momentum, which can be fast-paced. Volunteers may need to lift up to 10 pounds and stand or walk for a few hours.

- Collect, weigh, and record pasta/sauce donations

Mission Statement
"To provide food, support, and shelter to the homeless motel children of Southern California, supported by a vision where we are creating a modicum of consistency in children's lives through something as simple, yet meaningful, as a nightly dinner".
Description
Caterina’s Club was founded by Chef Bruno, proprietor of the historic Anaheim White House, in 2005. The mission of Caterina's Club is to "provide food, support, and shelter to the homeless motel children in Orange County." It is supported by a vision of creating a modicum of consistency in these children’s lives through something as simple yet meaningful as a nightly dinner. Caterina's Club serves over 5,000 pasta dinners every night to children struggling with food insecurity.
Furthermore, Caterina’s Club assists qualified families in transitioning from a motel room to a safe, family-friendly apartment they can call home. We provide the first and last month’s rent for families who qualify for assistance. To date, we have helped move 273 families through our Welcome Home Program.
Additionally, Caterina's Club provides homeless high school students with the tools to work in the restaurant and hospitality industry. They undergo a 12-week course in Chef Bruno's Hospitality Program, where they learn skills such as hosting, serving, cooking, bussing, and dishwashing. Upon completion of the program, they are paired with local businesses to provide them with jobs and help break the cycle of homelessness.
Through our unwavering commitment and community support, Caterina’s Club continues to provide hope and opportunity to those in need, one meal and one family at a time. Together, we are helping break the cycle of homelessness and creating a brighter future for the children and families we serve.
