The Better Neighbor Project will be tabling an event this Saturday, December 7th. Our Volunteers greatly support BNP’s small but mighty team in successfully producing safe and fun events for pet owners and the pets we serve!

• Saturday, December 7th - | Address: South Los Angeles Animal Shelter, 1850 W 60th St, Los Angeles, CA 90047 | Event Time: 9 AM - 4 PM |

Tabling Support volunteers will be responsible for providing on-site event support, which can include but is not limited to the following:

• Setting up their stations before the event starts (a check-list and instructions will be provided for each booth, as well as on-site training)
• Directing clients
• Managing Michelson Found Animals booths (ex., pet supplies, microchip registry, ID tag engraving, etc.)
• Providing information about the event and other vendors
• Helping clients register their pets ( On-site training will be provided)

Required Training/Qualifications:

• Event information and training will be provided before the event and on-site.
• You must be at least 13 years old. Children between 13 and 15 must volunteer with a parent or guardian, but those 16 and older may volunteer independently.
• Possess a basic range of motion and energy to complete simple tasks such as sweeping, wiping down, lifting, and/or moving up to 25 lbs, etc.
• Able to perform the assigned tasks, independently run assigned event booths, and willing to adapt to last-minute changes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with clients and their pets.
