Volunteers are needed December 6th to help unload and organize a large donation made by the Travelers Chorale - a free concert that asks attendees to donate a non-perishable food item rather than purchasing a ticket. This donation will stock our Freshplace food pantry for the holiday season.
Freshplace is Chrysalis Center’s innovative client-choice, fresh food and case management food pantry located on our main campus in Hartford. Freshplace serves up to 100 families monthly living in the poorest neighborhoods in Hartford. Volunteers are needed to help with unloading and sorting donations, assisting with pantry inventory, and organizing shelves.
