The Blind Community Center of San Diego is a place where blind and low vision people can get together to have fun and live a better life. Volunteers will be helping to provide a safe and clean place for their participants to work on crafts, sing, play games, watch movies, eat lunch, work on computers, and attend drama, yoga and cribbage classes.
General cleaning includes sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as well as possibly breaking down cardboard boxes. They provide all cleaning materials and tools. Their site has restrooms, a kitchen, offices, a classroom, and an auditorium. They are a volunteer-run organization and are looking for more volunteers to come in on alternate days.
