We are partnering with the Community Baby shower program hosted by the San Francisco library. The program invites new and expecting parents and their children (ages 0-5) to a party. The party includes a storytime, playtime, activities, giveaways, and information tables by community programs.
We are looking for volunteers who will pass out resources (provided Literacy kits) to families. We have included English and Spanish books. I appreciate your interest in volunteering with us!

Mission Statement
Jumpstart is a national early education organization working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.
Description
Jumpstart aims to close the gap in educational achievement between children from low-income communities and their wealthier peers, before that gap appears. In pursuit of this goal, Jumpstart recruits and trains college students, called Corps members, to help preschool-aged children in low-income neighborhoods develop the language, literacy, and social skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Jumpstart inspires children to learn, young adults to teach and lead, families to become more involved in their children’s education, and communities to progress together.
