We are looking for an experienced person to help us submit our 2024 tax returns for our small globally oriented nonprofit based in Arlington VA. We have made less than $50,000 over past two years so filed postcard return but now will be filing 990. We believe that it should be relatively straightforward.
Our nonprofit empowers teens across the world to be changemakers, with a focus on action around the biggest challenges of our time, linking them in virtual teen-led gatherings every week, to work on climate change, plastic pollution, hunger, education, gender empowerment, racial justice, mental health, wildlife conservation, and so much more. We also host a global video challenge for teens and take them to the United Nations yearly to advocate.
We have a great accountant and I have two previous years of tax returns filed by a firm, so I believe this should be relatively straightforward. We can also with your help file an extension so as not to be under a deadline in April.

About GLOBAL COLLABORATION LAB NETWORK
Location:
PO BOX 7043, ARLINGTON, VA 22207, US
Mission Statement
To engage teens globally to be changemakers, utilizing the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals as a framework with a global video contest and virtual teen-led SDG virtual meeting gatherings called SDG Hubs.
Description
The Global Co Lab Network is a virtual "do tank" that empowers inter-generational engagement focused on empowering teens globally using an annual video contest and virtual teen-led "Hubs" focused on the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals. The next generation needs to be better understood and heard and older generations have significant experience and networks to share. The Global Co Lab designs inter-generational engagements focused on fostering more effective solutions led by youth, working with adult mentors on such topics as climate change, gender equality, quality education, racial justice, wildlife conservation, fighting hunger, getting rid of single-use plastics, reducing the stigma of mental health, fostering work on all of these issues in other languages (Spanish and Turkish now) and calling together all artists to work on these goals.
