Fill a Stocking Coordinator ~ Big Island Thank you for considering helping with Project Hawai'i, Inc.'s Fill a Stocking drive! This special initiative is a way to bring holiday cheer and essential items to homeless children in our community who would otherwise go without. By helping to collect the needed items for the children's stockings, you’re not only giving gifts but also showing them that they are valued, remembered, and loved. For many this is their very first stocking ever!! The simple joys of the holidays are often overlooked for children living in poverty! These special little details are part of what bring joy and happiness that create those childhood memories that last a lifetime. Building their self worth is truly in the details of a child feeling included in all that is part of traditions of society. You truly make a difference!
Please remember that your commitment to fill a stocking truly matters-if a stocking item goes unfulfilled, it means a child in need won’t receive what we all want them to have this holiday season.

Description
Project Hawai’i, Inc. is an award-winning, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to serving over 1,600 homeless children annually across O'ahu, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawai'i. We aim to transform the lives of these children by providing stability through engaging programs such as educational summer camps, holiday events, school support, and life skills training. In addition, we offer monthly outreach services, ensuring children have access to nutritious meals, personal hygiene supplies, and emergency resources.
Since our founding in 2003, we are proud to have helped over 2,000 homeless children break free from the cycle of poverty, empowering them to build stronger, more secure futures for themselves and their families.
With more than 23,000 children in Hawai'i living in substandard and homeless conditions, our mission is to end the cycle of poverty for Hawai'i’s keiki.
