Hop onto our Santa Paws parade float for a magical evening downtown! The Dickens of a Christmas holiday parade in Roanoke is a great opportunity to celebrate the bond between pets and people, and gain a few volunteer hours too.

The parade begins on Jefferson Street at Elm Avenue, turns onto Campbell Avenue, goes past Market Square, and ends at Williamson Road. This year’s parade will start at 6:30pm, but the floats and poeple walking in the parade are typically asked to arrive around 5:00pm! Parade ends at 10:00pm but volunteer shifts may end earlier than that depending on if we are located in the beginning, middle, or end of the float lineup!

The parade is rain or shine.

Contact Erin Dams at edams@rvspca.org to sign up for this fun and festive volunteer opportunity.
