We recently posted a foundary log of weekly work done at Whiting Machine Works onto our website. (https://armeniansofwhitinsville.org/items/show/1826?collection=15&type=1). The document can be downloaded from our site or we can sent it to you separately to facilitate transcription. We would like it if someone might volunteer to transcribe the names so that we can then use them to tag the document to facilitate searching. The names basically repeat every week, but there will be modest changes given new hires or people leaving so each week needs to be searched.

About ARMENIAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA INC

Location:

80 BIGELOW AVE, WATERTOWN, MA 02472, US

Mission Statement

The Armenians of Whitinsville is an archival project being sponsored by the Armenian Cultural Association of America. Our mission is to both celebrate a special community in Massachusetts and look at the Armenian diaspora some 100 years after the Genocide.

Description

The group behind the Armenians of Whitinsville is a group of volunteers who are building out a platform for families to tell their story and contribute everything from photographs to recipes to audio and video oral histories, anything they might feel captures the character of their family. Our job is to help them gather this information, categorize it and upload it onto our site.
