Invasive Plant Removal at Theodore Roosevelt Island

Join us at Theodore Roosevelt Island from 10am to 12pm! We’ll be removing various invasive species and throughout the island to make room for native flora and fauna.
Meeting point is at the Pedestrian Bridge located on the Virginia side of the island, though works may be different each month. No skills are required for these events.
Notes:
Tools and gloves are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Bring snacks and water
Wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves that you don’t mind getting dirty.
There is a parking lot, but it may be hard to find parking. You can also bike or walk; it's about a 15-minute walk Rosslyn Metro.
