ORGANIZATION: Community Action Marin

Propósito:
El preparador de impuestos voluntario entrevistará a los contribuyentes usando el método del IRS y proveerá servicios de preparación de declaraciones de impuestos para contribuyentes elegibles.

Responsabilidades y funciones:
* Proveer servicios de preparación de declaraciones de impuestos a contribuyentes que califican para asistencia.
* Ingresar información de impuestos en el software apropiado, Obtener la autorización del E-file, y preparar impuestos dentro del nivel certificado y dentro del alcance del programa VITA.
* Cumplir con los estándares de calidad de IRS, que incluyen mantener la privacidad de los contribuyentes, los valores de confidencialidad, y el código de conducta.
* Entrevistar contribuyentes en persona y utilizar recursos disponibles para asistir contribuyentes.
* Comunicarse con individuos de una manera respetuosa y enfoque receptivo a diferentes creencias y prácticas, orientación sexual, discapacidades, identidades de género, edad, preferencias culturales, necesidades lingüísticas, y otros estados protegidos estatales y federales.
* Asistir y obtener certificación de ley de impuesto y cualquier otra certificación de entrenamiento de IRS.
* Observar impuestos ser preparados antes de trabajar directamente con contribuyentes.
Compromiso de tiempo:
* Programa de formación en línea que debe completarse antes de enero de 2025.
* 4 horas/día, una vez por semana de enero a abril 2025.
Requeridos habilidades y requisitos:
Habilidades:
* Poder involucrarse con el público en una manera positiva y productiva.
* Proveer apoyo necesario al equipo VITA con dedicación a la misión y visión de la Agencia.
* Fuertes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.
* Completar todo el entrenamiento requerido del IRS: Valores de Conducta del Voluntario, Entrevista y Control de Calidad, el sistema de certificado para Voluntarios, y la certificación de derecho tributario.
* Saber usar computadoras: Microsoft Office, aplicaciones y software aprobado por el IRS, y sistemas operados por Windows.
Requisitos:
* Mantener y/o obtener certificación avanzada de derecho tributario.
* Competente en inglés y español.
* Deseo de expandir conocimientos de servicios preparativos de impuestos.
* Adaptarse bien a un ambiente dinámico, y bajo presión. Trabajar efectivamente en equipo.
* Experiencia de impuestos no es requerida.
