Hospice Volunteers are ordinary adults with extraordinary love and concern for others. Volunteers can touch lives in many ways. You can make a difference in your life and some else's in as little as a few hours per week. Volunteers are an integral part of the Silverado Hospice Circle of Care. Our trained volunteers spend time with patients and families to provide support and love. They do this by keeping patients company, reading to them, or simply sitting at the bedside to hold hands. Volunteers also participate in community outreach, help in the office, and provide bereavement support to grieving families.
