Graham is seeking volunteers to support Harlem parents in their career and employment journey. Volunteers will assist in building job readiness skills, including creating resumes, cover letters, and providing one-on-one support. Your efforts will empower parents to take the next step toward securing meaningful employment and improving their financial independence.
Details:- Location: Harlem
- Volunteer Time Options: (We are flexible within this time frame and we will work with you, 1 hour - 1:30 sessions)
- Parent Café: Monthly on Fridays from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
- Afterschool Sessions: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (weekdays)
- Role Overview: We are looking to split this role into two positions:
- Resume & Cover Letter Workshop Facilitator
- Teach parents how to write effective resumes and cover letters.
- Provide hands-on support in crafting job application materials.
- One-on-One Resume & Cover Letter Support
- Offer personalized help to parents on creating or improving their resumes and cover letters.
- Assist with job search strategies and interview preparation.
- Resume & Cover Letter Workshop Facilitator
