ORGANIZATION: GRAHAM-WINDHAM

Are you passionate about supporting parents and helping them build stronger relationships with their children? We are seeking a Parent Skills Instructor to guide parents in developing adaptive parenting techniques.

Details:

  • Schedule: (We are flexible and will work with you)
    • Option 1: One Saturday a month (11:00 AM-1:30 PM)
    • Option 2: Thursday evenings (6:00-8:00 PM)
  • Location: PS 123, 301 W. 140th St., New York
  • Role: Facilitate sessions for parents to learn adaptive parenting strategies and skills that will help them better connect with and support their children.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or counseling parents.
  • Knowledge of adaptive parenting methods and the ability to engage parents in meaningful discussions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Volunteering:

By volunteering as a Parent Skills Instructor, you will play a crucial role in empowering parents with the tools they need to adapt to the evolving needs of their children, fostering healthier relationships and stronger families.
