Greetings! I'm Jason, a co-founder of VillageCo . We're increasing connection and belonging wtihin existing communities using a model that's emerged from years of work in Seattle and Boise.

Our Approach

We envision a more locally connected world, and are working toward that vision by helping individuals form Villages using our Village Gathering Model to bring together neighbors.

Village Gatherings consists of elements designed to enhance group cohesion and foster relationship building experiences. It can be used online or in-person settings, and accommodates a variety of personality types. The structure also allows members to share passions, engage the group in meaningful discussions, and take action together outside of gatherings.

Where We're At Now

In October 2024 we launched a pilot Village Building Cohort of 20 people around the world who are putting our Village Gathering Model to the test. Their feedback and suggestions will inform the next version of our model, and help us build out our scaling model.

The Need

We've found that while people are looking for community, there are a number of barriers that inhibit people from trying out Village. We also have found that people forget about their intentions to visit Village gatherings.

Your Opportunity

The Social Media Manager will lead our strategy for engaging people online to talk about social health, and engage current or potential Village Members.

The Social Media Manager generates engagement through posts, campaigns, and comments on appropriate platforms. Working with the Communications Team, this role will support campaigns and projects to provide engagement activities. Our interest in social media is focused around engaging current members to remind them of the benefits of social connections and opportunities to share their stories or insights.
