Recruiting Organization: Nerdy Girl Success, Inc
NGS’ virtual career accelerator program intended for young women, ages 18-22. This virtual program aims to prepare young women for internships and future careers in various professions. Young women will leave with a completed resume, established LinkedIn profile, and various connections with women in professions and at companies of interest. Participants will gain a better understanding of careers that they are interested in, the high demand careers and interviewing and resume building practice. The volunteer roles are listed below.
Session Description: This session shares strategies on how to effectively advocate for yourself in different situations, whether it be to make and get your POV across with projects and ideas, or to navigate seeking and getting promotions and new opportunities at work.
Details: All session materials will be provided. Sessions are delivered virtually and recorded.
