Recruiting Organization: Nerdy Girl Success, Inc

NGS’ virtual career accelerator program intended for young women, ages 18-22. This virtual program aims to prepare young women for internships and future careers in various professions. Young women will leave with a completed resume, established LinkedIn profile, and various connections with women in professions and at companies of interest. Participants will gain a better understanding of careers that they are interested in, the high demand careers and interviewing and resume building practice. The volunteer roles are listed below.

Session Description: When beginning the job search process, you should be clear on what’s important to you: What are your values? What are you looking for in a company? In your job? What would be your non-negotiables and where are you flexible? This session will guide participants through the process of determining these things as well as how to research and evaluate companies for alignment.

Details: All session materials will be provided. Sessions are delivered virtually and recorded.
