Want to help refugee youth succeed in school and excel socially? In the last year, RefugeeOne welcomed over 700 refugees from all over the world to Chicago - and we need your support to help refugee youth thrive!

Volunteers with our After-School Program support dozens of school-aged (K-8th) refugee youth alongside RefugeeOne staff. Volunteers join our program - hosted at RefugeeOne's Main Office - one day per week to:

• Help students with homework
• Provide 1:1 English practice
• Facilitate activities and games
• Support staff in ensuring a safe environment

Requirements: Minimum commitment of one day per week for a full semester (Sept-Dec or Jan-Jun). The After-School Program runs Monday - Friday, 4:00 - 6:30pm at RefugeeOne’s Main Office. No additional languages skills required.
