Hack.Diversity is transforming the economy by breaking down barriers and building access for the next generation in tech. Through our nine-month Fellowship, we recruit and place early-career professionals into software engineering and data analytics roles.
Hack.Diversity Mentors play a crucial role in guiding Fellows to realize their full potential and establish long-term, growth-oriented careers in the tech and innovation economy. You might be a great fit for our Mentor Network if you are a professional with at least 3 years of experience and have a mix of the following:
- Ties to and/or currently located in Boston or New York City
- Experience at a manager level or above
- Technical background or fluency
- Passionate about breaking barriers in the innovation economy
- Able to dedicate 5 hours/month from January - September 2025 to provide 1:1 mentorship and to attend Hack.Diversity events
- Reliability with communication via Slack and email and availability in Eastern Time
Applications are due December 20: https://bit.ly/HackMentor-2025
Please note: While connections to the tech and innovation industries in Boston or New York City are valuable, our Mentor Network includes individuals who are not based in these cities, not technical, and have no prior experience in tech. Their passion and commitment to our mission still make them great Mentors. Time commitment is estimated to be 5 hours/month but is flexible as determined by your 1:1 relationship with your Mentee.
