Position Overview

The Endocrinology Teaching Assistant supports faculty in teaching endocrine system biology, hormone regulation, and related physiology, assisting students in understanding complex physiological processes.

Location: Remote

Start time: Jan 6, 2025

Time Commitment: 2 to 6 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

    • Teaching Support: Assist in teaching endocrine physiology through discussion sessions, office hours, and reviewing materials.
    • Grading: Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams, and maintain student progress records.
    • Lab Support: Assist with virtual labs and demonstrations related to endocrine processes.
    • Student Support: Help students understand complex endocrinological concepts, offering explanations and answering questions.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Endocrinology, Biology, or a related field; graduate students preferred.
    • Strong understanding of hormone systems and endocrine functions.
    • Ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly.
    • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
