Rapidly growing Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is seeking a professional with accounting and finance expertise who is looking to give back to our community and help animals in need. What you bring to the team:

• Strong accounting background required - CPA license highly preferred
• Experience with and/or interest in contributing to and learning about a non-profit mission related to animal welfare
• Prior involvement with a capital campaign is a plus

Responsibilities:

Work with the Treasurer and additional finance/accounting members to oversee the fiscal health of the organization. Duties may include:

• Developing budgets for board review and approval; monitoring income and expenses against annual budget
• Managing the finances of our multi-year capital campaign - including donations, and restrictions
• Contributing to cash flow management, audit preparation and other ad hoc projects
• Serving as liaison to external financial agents (e.g. - outside accounting firm, investment advisor)
• Providing up-to-date financial statements
• Ensuring financial practices follow state & federal laws including IRS Form 990, annual audits, policies, etc...
• Managing the investment strategies, vendor contacts and agency expenses
• Serving as an active member of the G&A Committee of the Baypath Board
