  • This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
  • Leaders are expected to work at least 8 hours weekly and respond to emails within two days.
  • STW(tm) welcomes volunteers who are seeking skill-based volunteering opportunities. STW(tm) shall provide a "letter of recommendation" for professionals who demonstrate outstanding contributions for professional references.

Position Summary:

Reports to: Director of Operations

We are looking for a talented operations professional to help us achieve the next level of scale and impact.The Project Leader - Operations will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of operational projects. This role will ensure that operational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. This role will work closely with various departments to implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and secure funding to support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage operational projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project alignment and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
