ORGANIZATION: LENDING A SUPPORTING HAND FOUNDATION

We are seeking motivated college students for an internship offering college credit! Gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and build your resume while contributing to meaningful projects. Ideal candidates are proactive and ready to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.

Position Overview: The Fundraising Intern will support the development team in creating and implementing fundraising strategies to help sustain the nonprofit’s mission. This intern will assist in donor outreach, event planning, and developing fundraising materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Research and identify potential donors or sponsors.
  • Help manage and update donor databases.
  • Prepare thank-you letters, impact reports, and other donor correspondence.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials for fundraising initiatives.
  • Analyze fundraising metrics to track the success of campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and fundraising tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
