Position Overview

The Cardiovascular Physiology Teaching Assistant assists faculty in teaching the physiological principles of the cardiovascular system, including blood circulation, heart function, and blood pressure regulation.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Support: Assist with teaching sessions, provide explanations of cardiovascular concepts, and answer student questions.
Grading: Grade assignments, exams, and quizzes related to cardiovascular physiology.
Lab Support: Assist with virtual cardiovascular physiology labs and demonstrations.
Student Assistance: Help students grasp the physiological mechanisms that regulate cardiovascular health.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Physiology, Biomedical Science, or a related field; graduate students preferred.
Strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology and related topics.
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
