About the Role
As Co-Director of Communication and Social Media, you'll manage The Halifax Helpers' social media presence, from planning and posting content to creating visuals and tracking engagement. You'll work closely with our team to expand our online presence and support our mission of educational equity.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Scheduling: Plan and schedule posts on Facebook, Instagram, and X, using Canva to design engaging graphics.
Engagement & Analysis: Track metrics like likes, shares, and follower growth; analyze trends to improve our reach.
Community Interaction: Respond to comments and messages, promote events, and encourage community engagement.
Requirements
Experience with social media platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills
Creativity and familiarity with content creation
Basic analytics knowledge to inform strategies
Interest in marketing (a plus!)
1-2 hours per week
