Position Overview:
We are seeking an Individual Giving Volunteer to support our efforts in growing and managing relationships with individual donors. This role is ideal for someone passionate about nonprofit work and interested in helping to cultivate and steward relationships that drive support for CSA’s programs. The Individual Giving Volunteer will assist with donor outreach, engagement, and retention strategies, helping to ensure sustainable funding for our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:
Assist in identifying potential individual donors and engaging them in CSA’s mission through personalized outreach. Help build and maintain relationships with current donors to ensure continued support and deepen their commitment to CSA.Donor Communications:
Help craft personalized emails, thank-you letters, and other donor communications that express appreciation for their support. Ensure timely and thoughtful acknowledgment of donations.Campaign Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of individual giving campaigns, including email appeals, direct mail, and social media outreach, to increase engagement and support for CSA’s programs.Donor Database Management:
Assist with managing donor data, including updating records, tracking donations, and ensuring accurate reporting. Help maintain a clean and organized database to ensure efficient communication with individual donors.Donor Engagement Events:
Support the planning and execution of donor appreciation events, such as virtual or in-person meetups, to engage donors and foster a sense of community and connection with CSA’s mission.Impact Reporting:
Help prepare and distribute impact reports that show donors the difference their contributions have made, including success stories, financial transparency, and program updates.Research and Prospecting:
Assist in researching potential new donors, including identifying high-net-worth individuals and prospective supporters who align with CSA’s mission.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills with an ability to engage and build relationships with individuals through various channels (email, phone, and in-person).
Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to CSA’s mission to help vulnerable populations.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to track donor engagement and manage records effectively.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently, as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with donor management systems is a plus but not required.
Experience in fundraising or donor relations is a plus, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Location: Remote
Role Type: Volunteer (Part-time)
Time Commitment: Approximately 8 hours per week, flexible schedule.
