Be part of the magic at the 2024 Holiday Light Show (HLS) at Rotary Botanical Gardens! We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this cherished community event a success. With a variety of roles available, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while giving back.
Opportunities include:
- Trail Walkers: Welcome guests, answer questions, and ensure visitors stay on designated paths.
- Entrance/Exit Assistants: Greet guests, provide directions, and ensure a smooth flow of visitors.
- Parking Lot Attendants: Assist guests with parking, direct traffic, and provide a welcoming first impression.
- Comfort Station Concessions: Serve hot chocolate, cookies, and other treats, spreading holiday cheer.
- Grounds Clean-Up Crew: Help keep the gardens tidy and inviting by cleaning up after each night’s event.

Rotary Botanical Gardens is an internationally-themed botanical showcase which provides education and appreciation of horticulture for the benefit of all people. Enriching lives through the natural beauty, education and the arts.
Description
Rotary Botanical Gardens is located in Janesville, Wisconsin.
It is a 20-acre non-profit botanic garden that is home to many dramatic and themed gardens. Some have an international focus, such as the Japanese, Scottish, French Formal, Italian and English Cottage Gardens.
Also included are less formally-structured gardens including one of very few Fern and Moss gardens recognized by the Hardy Fern Foundation in the United States, as well as Shade, Prairie and Woodland Gardens.
On-site are also a visitor center, gift shop, and a beautiful facility that may be rented for wedding receptions, reunions, meetings, etc.
