ORGANIZATION: Community Cooperative

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Set-Up Shift 1 (7am-10am): with staging tables, hanging banners, and setting up kitchen
    equipment. Some heavy lifting may be required
  • Set-Up Shift 2 (10am-1pm): Assist the event as a Table Host, Kitchen Server or Food/Beverage Runner. Volunteers will be on their feet for the long periods of time.
  • Set-up Shift 3 (1pm-4pm): Assist with table set up (linens, centerpieces, etc.), bar & beverage set up and tasks necessary to ensure the event space is ready for guests.
  • Table Host (4:30pm-9:30pm): Assist with pledge cards, assist guests with beverages and other needs, pick up plates and materials from the table throughout the evening, etc.
  • Servers (5pm-10pm): Assist the kitchen staff and other food vendors with serving and replenishing food for the guest buffets, deliver ice to tables, and various other set up tasks for the buffets and kitchen area.
  • Breakdown Crew (8pm-12am): Assist Community Cooperative with packing up tables, chairs, garbage, and glassware after event.

Community Cooperative is dedicated to ending hunger and homelessness in our community. We do this through providing the community with the following services: Community Cafes and Markets, Meals on Wheels, a Community Garden, comprehensive Social Services and Life Coaching programs, and Homeless Services.
