Northwest HS Program | Session Presentation - How to Introduce Yourself

The NGS HS Program helps girls from grads 9th - 12th, develop the skills necessary for success in their life, education and careers. These skills include leadership, public speaking, advocacy, business acumen and learning how to collaborate with one another, rather than competing.

The "How to Introduce Yourself" session helps participants create compelling self-introductions for different time frames: 30 seconds, 1 minute, and 5 minutes. They’ll learn the key elements of an effective elevator pitch, including clarity on who they are, what they do, and what sets them apart. Through guided exercises, participants will craft and practice their pitches, adapting them for various professional settings. Small group breakouts provide supportive peer feedback to enhance delivery and confidence. By the end, each participant will be equipped to make strong first impressions in any context.
