Want to make a different? Be a mentor! (Phoenix)
ORGANIZATION: ARIZONANS FOR CHILDREN INC
Please visit the new page to apply.
If you are looking to volunteer your time making a difference in a child’s life, then look no further! Our mentor program works to pair volunteers over the age of 21 with children and teens in foster care who are hoping to find someone able to spend one on one, quality time with them. Majority of children and teens in group homes have experienced abuse and are living with up to 9 other kids in similar circumstances - all deserving of a safe and caring person willing to spend time with them and have fun. What you choose to do is entirely up to you! Head to a movie, play at the park, teach a young person a new skill, help with homework, or make use of free events that we will find and send through to you! You will have our support every step of the way!
Please reach out for more information if you are interested, we’d love to hear from you!
